Mars Komagatake 2022 Edition Single Malt Japanese Whisky

A single malt whisky from the Hombo Shuzo Mars Shinshu Distillery, which located at the foot of Kiso-komagatake 798 metres above sea level, the highest peak in the Central Alps of Japan (Nagano Prefecture (Shinshu)). The 2022 Edition is vatted mainly from malt aged in bourbon and sherry barrels, and port casks.

 Tasting Note:

• Nose: fruity notes of apricot and banana, followed by elegant and deep aroma reminiscent of apple tea
• Palate: dried plums, followed by the gentle sweetness of acacia honey
• Finish: smooth and pleasant, with a hint of ripe persimmon
